there is no dress code! if you need guidance, think "shabby new england cocktail". please wear whatever makes you feel celebratory and comfortable and autumnal and seafaring. the ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass, outdoors. the reception is indoors.
everyone, call in your karma for good weather!
the friday bonfire, wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and sunday pastries are all outdoors.
if it is rainy, we have Plan Bs on which we will keep you apprised via email.
if it is chilly or "a little misty", we will proceed with events as planned.
keep an eye on the forecast for South Kingstown and pack accordingly!
we are not providing transportation to/from the ceremony or reception, and the Charlestown/South Kingstown area is a bit sleepy, especially in the off-season. we hope to scope the local Lyft/Uber scene next week to provide a better sense of the rideshare landscape, but at this time we make no guarantees. the best way to get home after the reception will probably be a car you or another guest is driving. Please be safe and reach out if you need help coordinating a carpool buddy!
and with that! the ceremony is being held in a neighborhood. street parking will be available and many homes have four-season residents. here is a map to reference for where to park and where not to park. we request no parking directly in front of our house, the immediate next door or across-the-street neighbors' houses, or in the driveway.
